What is Mama Strength Studio?
Mama Strength is a small, intimate studio in Edmonton created specifically for new moms. We offer yoga and Pilates where you can get a real workout while your baby is cared for by mama helpers right in the same room. Our classes are limited to just 8 moms per session, so you get focused instruction and a supportive atmosphere. No babies on the mats — this is time for you to move and strengthen your body while your little one is safely looked after. It’s postpartum fitness that actually fits real mom life.
Do I need to be a certain fitness level?
No. Classes are designed for all levels, including beginners and postpartum moms.
What makes this different from a regular gym?
You don’t need childcare. Your child is part of the environment, not a barrier to showing up.
What ages are allowed?
12 months and under. Some classes are for toddlers, check the class description.
What if my child cries or needs me?
Totally normal. You can pause anytime—this space is built for real mom life.
Are children participating in the class?
No, Babies are with the mama helpers, just a glance away. Open concept.
What types of classes do you offer?
Pilates, yoga, and sculpt designed for moms.
How long are classes?
Most classes are 50 minutes.
Do I need to pre-book?
Yes. Spots are limited to keep the space comfortable and safe.
What should I bring?
Water bottle for you and anything your child might need (snacks, diapers, etc.). We provide yoga mats, mamas don't need more stuff to carry!
Can I rent the space?
Yes. The studio is available for private events, mom groups, small gatherings, and photography sessions.
Where are you located?
On the second floor, of 1055 Parsons Rd, (Anava Beauty Salon)
Is there parking?
Yes. Lots of parking outside the building.
Is there stroller parking?
No, please leave strollers in your car or at home. Parking spots are very close.
